Thank you for your interest in Shomrai Preschool! We invite you to come visit our wonderful program. Please email preschool@yise.org to schedule a tour.
Please click on the link to complete the application for the 2025-2026 school year though Brightwheel. Please note, registration is not complete until the child is accepted into the program and the registration fee and deposit are paid in full.
We have a limited number of spaces available in each class and maintain a wait list when a class is full. Space is limited and can not be held or guaranteed without a completed application and paid registration fee. Late registration may result in your child’s placement on the wait list.
Tuition Subsidy Programs
Shomrai Preschool recognizes that it can be challenging for families to afford the full cost of tuition. There are various programs available that may help subsidize this expense. We recommend that you review these programs and see if you’re eligible for any of them:
Montgomery County’s Working Parents Assistance Program (WPA)
Montgomery County’s Working Parents Assistance (WPA) Program is a need-based program that provides a child care subsidy for working parents.
Family of 2 must make between $ 61,223- $ 82,395
Family of 3 must make between $75,628- $103,635
Family of 4 must make between $90,034 – $124,875

Maryland’s Child Care Subsidy Program (CCSP)
Maryland’s Child Care Subsidy Program (CCSP) is a need-based program that provides a child care subsidy for eligible working families in Maryland.
Family of 2 must make less than $61,222
Family of 3 must make less than $75,627
Family of 4 must make less than $90,033
